There’s something slightly off about it, in a good way. An astronaut just… floating over a city that looks too dense to breathe in, bathed in that heavy sunset glow. The sun hangs low and oversized, almost pressing against the skyline. You don’t really question how they got there, or why. It feels more like a pause than a moment, like time stretched thin between buildings and sky.
When it starts moving, it’s not dramatic. The astronaut drifts forward slowly, almost weightless, while the city below shifts in layers. Tiny lights begin flickering across windows, subtle, uneven, like the place is waking up or maybe winding down, hard to tell. The warm tones bleed across everything, and in 4K it gets kind of immersive without trying too hard. On ultrawide or dual monitor setups, the skyline just keeps going, giving that sense of endless space. Runs smooth on Windows and macOS, nothing pulling you out of it.
Feels like one of those wallpapers you keep longer than expected. Not loud, not flashy. Just a quiet, floating perspective above everything. Works well late at night, or honestly whenever you want something that doesn’t demand attention but still feels alive in the background.
