It feels a bit unreal right away, like you’re driving somewhere that doesn’t exist on any map. The road stretches forward, steady, but the surroundings don’t quite behave. Clouds sit low, almost level with the highway, glowing faintly under a sky packed with stars. Inside the car, everything is dim except that soft dashboard glow, flickering slightly, like it has its own rhythm. You don’t really question it after a few seconds, which is strange.
The motion is where it settles in. Streetlights pass overhead in a loose pattern, not perfectly timed, just enough to keep your eyes moving. Cars ahead drift gently, their red lights smearing a little across the glass, especially noticeable in 4K. The clouds shift slow, almost like breathing, wrapping the highway in something soft and endless. On an ultrawide or dual monitor setup it stretches out nicely, gives that extra space for the road to feel longer than it should. Runs smooth on Windows or macOS, no sharp interruptions, just constant movement.
It works best when you’re not really focused on it. Background kind of thing. Late evenings, maybe some music playing, and this just sits there doing its quiet loop. Not flashy, not overloaded. Just a night drive that never quite reaches anywhere, which somehow makes it easier to leave on.
